wholeheartedly agreed. i’m not understanding the gray metallic trash bag thing. it looks like whoever made it was too lazy to finish it. not to mention the cheap looking bag and the way in which she’s wearing it. i haven’t strung a bag across my chest like that since i was six. and those pants look a little too tight somewhere. AND the shirt she’s wearing under the unfinished jacket just looks so bad and again, cheap.
also, the hair tied back, heavy lipstick in this hideous shade thing is getting kind of old. it was ugly and unflattering the first time. let’s move on to something new.
i write all this at the risk of being crucified by ardent emma fans. it’s not that i don’t like her. i’m just wondering what happened to her formerly cool and mature sense of style. it seems like as time has gone on, she’s taken steps backward rather than forward.
oh well. i guess we’ll see what happens in the future.

i disagree. I saw the whole outfit on ew-f and the pants and shoes are fabulous. the jacket is the only part of the outfit that i have to disagree with.

Ah, I disagree. Her all black matchy-match outfit at the Chanel show was the worst (this is excluding her history of hideous navy blue dresses at the past ‘Order of the Phoenix’ premiers).
The jacket is meant to look like a jacket with a scarf, by the way. If you ask me the colors in her outfit actually look quite nice, and the jacket *is* nice, although the scarf concept was executed poorly (not on her part, but the designer). My main problem is that this outfit looks inappropriate for the fashion event. I realise that chic/hipster trash is in style right now, but she looks more like she’s going out into the city for lunch in this outfit.
Something I strongly disagree with, Elizabeth, is your burn on the small bag. Small bags are quite popular at the moment (with women not 6 year olds), and have been especially popular since Chanel makes mini wallets/flap bags that you can easily wear around your body. What makes them ideal is that you can carry the essentials — such as a wallet, cash, card, id, or a phone — and still keep it comfortably on your body, whether you’re at the store or a club.

This outfit is hideous. It looks way too old for her and even if she was 40 it would still look bad. It shows that when Emma isn’t dressed for events she actually has no personal style.

i knew this shit was going to be posted and everyone would bitch about her “style”. Honestly, she is experimenting and she is allowed to do that because if she went with the masses and kept wearing cute dresses all the time she would be plain boring and predictable. She is not dressing up to impress you and me, she is experimenting and if you lot saw the whole outfit then you would see that the pants, shoes and top is fine. It’s just the jacket which is a BAD color and the only thing I have negative to say (which is not really that negative) is for emma to change her hair. If she let her hair down she would completely look her age.
And I’m glad she doesn’t go around in boring little dresses all the time. Because that is SOOO PREDICTABLE and annoying to look at constantly to be quite honest!

I think its cool….its different and i luuv different…cause nowdays everyone are like clons…lol…they are all the same…even in “real” life,not only on the red carpet…where are the 60`s and the 70`s when you could wear anything you want??you could go nacked on the street and that would be like…”oh look at that girl,she can handle everything,but i dont want to copy her style(i mean…when your nacked…thats really not some kind of style)”….and nowdays everyone are just listening the fashion experts and are like-”oh,i cant wear a silver jacket on the london fashion show…everyone will be looking at me like im from mars!”….so people…my advice…dont be soooo boring and listen to every single fashsion expert what to wear…

to the ones above who think they have the best fashion sense in the world. if you post your pictures, some will def say you’re the one who has no sense or original style whatever concerning fashion at all. don’t act like you are a perfect judge.
some will like emma’s style and some won’t. don’t act like you’re a fashion god who decides absolute fashion standards, what is right what is wrong. just saying you don’t like the style would be enought to let us know your opinion.

you might have your own opinion about fashion but Vogue IS FASHION! It has been for years and loads of people follow their lead on fashion for the season etc. You may be an individual but in the fashion world Vogue is the authority. Who made them that? We all did by following there advice and buying their magazines.
That being said, yes you still have your own opinion but no one disregards Vogues opinion. Well most in the fashion industry don’t as well as us who buy the mags and are into fashion.

i think the VOGUE and the other fashion magazines are like…you can read them but you dont have to listen and follow that advices….if you want to listen to them,then go ahed….and nobody said that we are giving emma advices…we are just talking about the fashion itself…like its sooo important today what to wear and that in the past wasnt like that…its just the medias and all that,we are used to it so we are taking all of the advices,etc. from them…like they are our own choice,not ourselves…emma is here just an example for all that…but anyway…i like her outfit….thats all…:D
